My name is Lilou Sticks and for the moment, I have nowhere to call home.

So everyday, I read, take pictures, watch films, eat cinnamon buns and cookies, go to museums, drink blue water, walk, I walk a lot, a whole lot, look at mirrors, listen to music, touch fabrics, taste and smell everything around me.

This is how I am trying to remember where I come from.

If you feel the same way I do, let’s try to find our homes together.

Happy New Year.

It all happened so suddenly. One minute I was fast asleep in my bed dreaming of rainbow cake and blue ice cream and the next I woke up on the floor to the sound of people screaming and big bangs and strange noises. A war. I was so afraid. I ran out on to the balcony with a flashlight. Crowds and crowds of people were screaming and jumping and, and, and, laughing? I said:
“What’s going on?”
Then a girl looked up at me, blew me a kiss and said:
“Happy New Year !”
New Year. I forgot about that. It seems another year has gone by again without me knowing it.
A few days later, while I was sitting with Ernesto, he is my friend that is a bird and he comes from Cuba, he said:
“Lilou for my resolution this year I have decided to stop smoking.”
I said:
“Ernesto, I want more friends I am a bit lonely and I would like to have someone to talk to and to eat with. I am a bit tired of eating alone.”
Then Ernesto got offended.
“No Ernesto, I know you are my friend but you are a bird and you are going to be gone half the year. Who is going to keep me company?”
Ernesto didn’t say anything.
So, my new years resolution is to make more friends. Maybe if I start showing you around my world then you can show me yours too.

So here is a picture of my collection of favourite things.

And here is my cat. Zouzi.

So here is to new friendships. And finding my way home.

Happy New Year.

  2. I missed your stories with Karl Lagerfed and Juergen Teller.
    They were inspired.
I think you would do one with John Galliano.
You will meet him in this café in Marais : "La Perle", and he will be there sad about what he said one week ago.
You will talk to him nd give him smile again, and he will do the most amazing photoshoot of you.
