My name is Lilou Sticks and for the moment, I have nowhere to call home.

So everyday, I read, take pictures, watch films, eat cinnamon buns and cookies, go to museums, drink blue water, walk, I walk a lot, a whole lot, look at mirrors, listen to music, touch fabrics, taste and smell everything around me.

This is how I am trying to remember where I come from.

If you feel the same way I do, let’s try to find our homes together.

There are chairs that don’t want to be chairs

I met a chair on the street today. She told me:
“I am so bored of sitting here all day long!”
So I picked her up and we walked.
We spoke about how I was having trouble finding my home.
Then, I asked her where her home was and she said :
“My home is wherever you set me down, I don’t really have a choice.”
I didn’t quite know how to respond to that so I commented on how lucky she was to have four legs because I only have two.
She laughed:
“You are lucky to have two that work rather than four that don’t.”

  1. for practical purposes, I think you should replace the word "commented" with "so I told her her..." I think that would sound more like Lilou. Otherwise, I love! Lilou should be a children's book. I would read it to my babies..
