My name is Lilou Sticks and for the moment, I have nowhere to call home.

So everyday, I read, take pictures, watch films, eat cinnamon buns and cookies, go to museums, drink blue water, walk, I walk a lot, a whole lot, look at mirrors, listen to music, touch fabrics, taste and smell everything around me.

This is how I am trying to remember where I come from.

If you feel the same way I do, let’s try to find our homes together.

Autumn’s chocolate

Today, it is autumn and I woke up under a grey sky, but that’s perfect. Because, do you know what I feel like? Today I feel like going swimming in a bowl of hot chocolate. But that’s going to be a bit complicated. I know. So instead I am going to go for a walk with a sweater and a scarf and make sure I get cold enough so that my nose turns red and my fingers are chilled, then I’m going to sit in a big chair, in a little café and I’m going to ask for a chocolat chaud s’il vous plait.

  1. Count your blessings. Nowhere for me to do this in hot, eternally summery Beirut. Besides, can't walk here towards any cafe without risking my life.
